File downloads / Lead magnets

File download rewards for email signups are a common pattern supported by Promolayer.

Step 1. Upload your file to a file host. Most users can upload directly to their platforms (Shopify, Wix, Wordpress). In the case you can't users commonly upload and share from Google Drive.

Step 2. Copy your file link. Open this link in an incognito (Chrome) / private (Safari) window to check it's correct and the file downloads.

Step 3. Paste this link in any Promolayer linkable area. In the screenshot below you can see we're on the 'thank you' page displayed after signup and we're adding the link to the download button.
